Compress the Chest CPR – Course Overview:

During this hands-on training with Compress the Chest CPR, you will learn the life-saving skills needed to respond confidently in emergencies. This includes performing high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, understanding essential BLS concepts from the Chain of Survival, delivering effective ventilations, recognizing the importance of early AED usage in life threatening circumstances, working efficiently as part of a resuscitation team, and relieving choking in individuals of all ages.

Who Should Take a Basic Life Support Course
The BLS course is designed for healthcare professionals that are required to have the capability to perform CPR in an expansive range of settings. AHA recommends that every student has the current copy of the BLS Provider manual ready for class.

The online and in-person skill session combination course includes an online component that's available for completion at any time (completion required before the skills session) and an in-person skills session. The skill sessions normally last approximately 30-60 mins. The training will be held at your facility/place, which must be equipped with the space, Wi-Fi, and a TV big enough to view during training.  AHA requires students to have their own current copy of the student manual prior to entering class. This manual can be used prior, during, after class or until a new update is published. Upon entering class the instructor must be presented with your downloaded copy (COME EARLY). Failure to present will result of you not being able to attend class.
