Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED training equips participants with the essential skills to deliver first aid, perform high-quality CPR, and safely operate an automated external defibrillator (AED), This course is based on the most current guidelines from the American Heart Association for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED equips participants with essential, lifesaving skills to respond confidently in emergencies. This course covers:

• First aid fundamentals
• Recognizing and responding to medical emergencies
• Managing injury-related emergencies
• Environmental emergency response
• Prevention of illness and injury
• Adult CPR and AED use
• Relief of choking for adults, children, and infants
• Drowning prevention and response
• Opioid-related life-threatening emergencies
• Optional training modules for Child CPR AED and Infant CPR

This course DOES NOT qualify for healthcare professionals and DOES NOT meet regulatory or OSHA requirements.
Who Should Take First Aid CPR and AED Course:

This course is specifically for anyone who desires to prepare for an emergency and respond in any setting or circumstance with minimum medical training. Perfect for workplaces, teachers, coaches, general public and community members. This course ensures you are prepared to act quickly and effectively during cardiac, breathing, or first aid emergencies. The training will be held at your facility/place, which must be equipped with the space, Wi-Fi, and a TV big enough to view during training.  AHA requires students to have their own current copy of the course student manual for certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.

The online and in-person skill session combination course includes an online component that's available for completion at any time (completion required before skills session) and an in-person skills session. The skill sessions normally last approximately 30-60 mins.  The training will be held at your facility/place, which must be equipped with the space, Wi-Fi, and a TV big enough to view during training. AHA requires students to have their own current copy of the course student manual for certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.

Clothing:

It is recommended that you wear clothing that is comfortable. During this class you will be getting down and up from the floor, kneeling on your knees, etc.

Travel Fee

Since this is a mobile business, a travel fee will be additional. Please refer to the "Mileage Fee" section.

Certificate of Completion (Printed Copy) must be presented the day of skills session, or you will not be allowed to participate. Once you complete the online portion, you must select a date from "Skills Session" for your assessment.
